Northeast Addison Television (NEAT)
NEAT is a community television station located in Bristol, Vermont, serving Bristol, New Haven, Starksboro, Lincoln, Monkton, and Huntington. Established by parents and teachers in 2002 as a non-profit community-based media center, NEAT’s mission is to use locally produced media to strengthen public dialogue, understanding, and community involvement. It is run by Executive Director Mary Arbuckle, an experienced filmmaker and media educator.
Located off Main Street at the end of Artists Alley, NEAT offers a comfortable drop-in space for all media enthusiasts. It provides production training, equipment, facilities, and airwaves. It broadcasts local events and public meetings, and sponsors media events like the popular Movies-in-the-Park summer film series. To access NEAT on your Roku, browse the channel store. Peg.TV is listed under the “Special Interest” category toward the bottom of the channel store page. Navigate over to PEG.TV, select it, and “add to your channel” Within PEG.TV you will see the full listing of available community channels, which can be browsed by “public”, “educational”, or “government”, or be searched by state. NEAT will appear as an option.
